I'm wondering if it would overlaod my battery to perform normal functions as well and provide heated glove and vest for me and jacket and pants for my wife. I know they all run off 12v but don't know if it's too much tasking for the battery
 
Shouldn't be a problem with the two things you mention unless you do a lot of low speed stop and go driving and idling.
 
Hold on a minute, I missed the wifes clothing too. That's 4 items not 2 as I thought. That's quite a load for all 4 pieces plus the normal load of the bike. You may want to upgrade the alternator to a higher output of you plan on running all those items frequently.
 
Thought something along those lines sounded right. Not sure how m,uch she'd get out there with me, but she's asking about it
 
There's always the battery pack for the heated clothing as an alternative too.

It is a self contained hookup separate from the bike.
 
Really couldn't give you an accurate reply here, I have mine hooked into the bike. I was just giving another option.
