If you're buying one go with the K&N. Washable and they last forever. Breathe better too. IMHO.

Thanks for the info.! I washed it and then someone told me that I needed to oil it lol so I didn't and wanted to make sure I was right.! But yeah I'd like to put a stage 1 k&n filter on the Softail ST eventually... I've heard great things about them and plus they look killer

You can do Stage 1 and keep the original "Viagra" oval air cleaner cover too. I did because I like the look.

Yeppir. Call me crazy but I like the stock look. Only thing I'm tempted to do is black the circular insert.

Man nice lookin bike... I really like those heritage softails... Now, does one need to retune fuel map after upgrading to the stage 1 air filter.?
