Harley tach

Just installed used Harley tach from ebay on my 2002 Heritage. 50 mph is 2000 rpm. 60 mph is 2300 rpm. 80 mph is only 3300 rpm. 5 speed trans. Does this sound about right?

MPH vs RPM will vary depending on tire diameter and the accuracy of the tach. Your numbers are about right. My calculators are based on the diameter of the stock Dunlop tire and show the following:

50mph = 2080
60mph = 2450
70mph = 2900
80mph = 3330

Thanks dolt. I just thought 3300 was a little low for 80 mph. Thanks again

Not in my garage, I use it in all my engines. If I had a way to use it on my electric powered things i'd be adding it to them.
