hard krome exhaust

installed a sett of these pipes......the front pipe is hitting the brake rod making an awfull dinging noise drivin me nutts...so i took the pipe off reinstalled,shimed the brake rod as far to the left as it would go still no dice ding ding da ding at idle ....anybody ever run into this before?:dknow

you amy be able to get away with loosening the head bolts and the exhaust hanger bolts then lifting the pipe up a little, wedge it with either folded paper or thin bit of wood then tighten the headers followed by the hanger

also check the bushings and bolts on the brake rod

hitting the pipe,i was thinking the same thing hobbit lossen then put something inbetween the 2 and tighten it back up

loosened every thing up and then took a 1/4 piece of flat bar and placed it inbetween the pipe and the brake rod tightened everything back up(removed flat bar):D took a test ride and so far so good no ding ding da ding ding and no exhaust leaks
