Handlebar wire extension

In regards to my 2016 HD softtail slim FLS do i have to extend all my electric wiring that is located in the handle bars when I make a 10 inch rise to my original handlebars and does Harley Davidson offer extensions for the wiring

Take a look here and you should be able to find what you need. I was unable to find the extension kit on Harley's site:

I was told on my 14RK if I stuck to 10" rise I was good to go on cables and wires. Not sure if that rule applies to your scoot though. Of course I went with taller bars so needed new everything. I got my bars, wire extensions and cables from direct cycle parts. There are some good videos on you tube on how to break down the connectors and to add the extensions if not familiar with task. Typical any more than 4 1nch rise or pull back you may need extensions
