Handlebar Adjustment

I'm a new owner of a Street Glide, can anyone help me out with adjusting my bars. I think I need to remove the ignition switch to get the cover off but am not sure how?

If you raise your bars up a little will it pinch or pull on the clutch cable and wires? It looks pretty tight already going into the fairing?

There's usually some play in the cables and wires so that the position of the bars can be changed a bit. Just keep an eye on things when doing it.
