Good forward control kit for 2001 FLHTCUI that's not $1200?

Seems like Hawg and Accutronix are the only companies that make forward controls with pegs for touring models, besides the crappy foreign companies. Already tried one of those sets.

Is there not a middle-of-the-road set for like $500 or $600? Also saw harley makes a floorboard-to-peg conversion kit that mounts to both softail and touring. Would a softail forward control kit fit an electra glide?

Different frames, so mounting points are different. Also Softails use long primary assembly, touring uses short, so linkage(s) are different lengths.

Have you tried Kuryakyn. They carry forward controls for your bike. I have bought parts from them before, good quality. ~$500
