Genuine Harley Part or Not?

Is it okay to replace the rubber hoses that ports oil into the air filter using a 3" piece of vacume hose with the correct diameter or should I go to Harley and get the hose with the 2 90degree bends. The existing hose has dry rotted on the fitting end of the cylinder bolt??

Vac hose will probably go spongy and rot very quickly, especialy if you have much blowby. Buy the factory hoses this time, not very expensive

Thanks for the insight and help, I will go Genuine Harley Davidson, now going to the local dealer for the part and yes the temptation of a new bike in living color and chrome, It can be fun to dream, but in a way funner to have a bike that needs some TLC and not demanding on the pocket. Giving thanks and praise.
