Garage Heat Follow Up

Just to be clear, heating the garage is to be able to store the bike and trailer at home.
So I ordered Navien Combi tankless gas water heater, finally got around to installing the system.
I have never installed them before so I'm taking my time.

Ended up having to rebuild the room for extra space for the water softener also moved the small wall heater towards the corner.
Will post more pictures this weekend, working on the plumbing to the Navien this weekend.

Yup we come up with anything from old wood stoves, propane torpedoes, it's what I've been using, to now, this set up.
The garage temp can be about 15 + degrees above the outside temp. So when below 0 outside it's 15 or so inside.
No fun tinkering in there when it's that cold.

Got most of the plumbing done, need more clamps to finish it off.
Gas man will be coming on the 11th to hook it up and adjust as needed.
So my goal is to get the system filled and circulating to purge air out.
Still need to do electrical.

Looks really nice! You saved a ton of labor doing that yourself. Its a lot more work than people think. Good job!!!

So far about 1/2 the price of the quote and it didn't include the hydronic heating.
I will be hooking the water supply to it tonight. And see if I can actuate the circulation pump to work out the air.
Visual inspection of all the clamps led me to 1 that wasn't crimped.
