Fuel Line Inside Tank

2008 FLSTC: I need to replace my fuel line inside the tank. This will be the one running from the fuel filter to the quick disconect. My question is how does it come off the fuel filter? It appears to be a snap on style and I tried squeezing the two ears that seem to hold it in but it didn't release it. I don't want to force it and break something. I'm not in a hurry so thought I would see if anyone on HDT had done this before. The service manual just says "remove it" so there must be a trick... Thanks - BDJ

Not sure about the '08's, I've taken a few apart on TC88 bikes and they all had crimp on clamps that I had to cut off with wire cutters and replace with screw-style clamps.

Thanks, but I figured it out. It just snaps in line an electrical conector. I just didn't have the tangs depressed enough.
