Fuel Filter

Doing an oil and oil filter change today. 2007 FLSTC is near 25,000 miles so looked at the recommended service in my Service Manual and it recommends replacing the FUEL TANK FILTER. However no where in this big service manual can I find where the filter is located or how to change it. Any help would be appreciated.

How often do any of you change the fuel filter?

It's in the fuel tank. You have to remove the fuel pump. Follow the procedure to remove the fuel pump. My manual says to replace the screws & gasket after opening the access cover. Safe to say it is not a 15 minute job..
Back-flush the screen sock and check the convoluted tubes/hoses while you are in there.
