frozen starter mounting bolts

Have 2003 superglide. trying to remove the starter. the two mounting bolts will not budge. Concerned about striping the hex head. any suggestion on how to loosen the bolts? Tey seem to be froz. have tried BP blaster with no luck.

Use some P B blaster, take a punch and give the heads of the bolts a good whack, center of the bolt heads, try a heat gun, remove the battery connections first. Use some anti sieze and new bolts:s
 
Like Jack said use a heat gun and try and get some heat going on down there on the threaded part of the starter mount.

Try a hand impact driver although it might be a challenge on some bikes to get a straight line through to the bolts
I use the 3/8" socket set to get through the bike to those bolts and would have to use a 1/2" to 3/8" step down to get the hand impact driver to work
Often the shock of hitting it can break the bolts free from the corrosion that is holding them tight

try to tighten them a bit first, then if it moves forward a bit it will come right out don"t be scared try it been turning wrenches for years
