front fork springs

I would like to know if it's possible to increase the preload of the front fork springs of my flht 05...please help me :worthy

Why increase the preload, just go to a heavier oil than the factory 5 wt.which is a bit thin for the application. The 10 wt is a good choice.

Because I think the springs are quite soft for a bagger and Italian streets... Had nobody trie that solution with harder oil???

The 10 wt oil will usually do the trick, if not there's the Screamin eagle 15 wt but that will stiffen the forks up considerably. You can also try an extra 1/2 ounce of oil in each leg.

15wt does stiffen them up quite a bit nose dive will become a thing of the past its almost too stiff
