Front brake lever pull - question?

Have only a few miles on this bike, and notice the front brake lever pull seems a little low, when applying the brake.

Is this typical of softails? On other bikes I remember a firmer brake lever feel - seldom more than a half way pull.

No leaks - reservior full.

Anyone else notice this?

No - no ABS. This lever pull is about 3/4 way to te handlebar......hard to tell if it's firm or not at that location......so will probably have the brake bled to see if that helps.
