Fork oil drain plug

2005 Road king Custom........Can someone please tell me the size of the phillips head screw which allows the oil to drain from the forks. I woild like to make a jig so as to make draining the fork oil easier. The manual does not mention the screw size. Thanx in advance

It can be removed using a standard phillips head screw driver.I beleive it's a #2.

Now why would HD be using metric screws? I'm just sort of confuseled by this.

Metric front end , gauges, starter, carb/parts and other parts. It's ASSEMBLED in USA, not entirely MADE in USA

Nothing to be confused about, it's more profitable to sell imported parts than have then made here in America.:unsure
