Hello everyone! I've been following this forum for a while, but this is my first post. I have picked up quite a lot of useful information. I've owned Harley's for many years and recently purchased a 2004 RK Custom from a friend in another city. I flew there to check out the bike and the next day hopped on it and drove it 650 miles home. It has a K & N air filter and Rhinehart slipons. I'm considering installing a Dobeck Gen 3. This seems to be the controller of choice. Any comments?
 
Welcome aboard from Canada. I put a Gen 3 on my wife's bike and it works great. More power, cooler oil temps and even an increase in mileage. :)
 
Welcome to HDT from the Rocky Mountains.
The Dobeck gen 3 works well with the better airflow and exhaust change already done to your new scoot.
Adding more fuel will also help cool down a hot engine.
 
Thanks to all for the greetings and your comments on the Dobeck Gen 3. I spoke to them and they were very friendly and helpful. I have ordered one and it's on the way. I'll post back after it's installed with my report.
