Can anyone tell me if a fairing from a road king will fit on a softail of the same year? In otherwords, are the front ends the same.
 
there is no fairing from a stock road king windshield but not fairing .. is that what your asking?
 
Here's the story-

A local big twin shop is going out of business and has a batwing for sale for $400.00. I asked if it would work on my softail, and the guy said it was for a road king. I know they come with winshields, so I assume it's aftermarket. I always thought road kings had the same front end as the FLSTC.

one more thing, and maybe this deserves to be it's own post.

I'm pretty good at finding parts for all my other toys online, but when it comes to finding genuine Harley parts online I come up short. The dealer sites I visit don't even offer a parts tab. What gives? Is it me?
