Buying a ESP form HD can be a negotiated price. Sit down with a salesman and do some dickering, then get the quote in writing then go do some shopping at other dealers.

I was told 2500 and change for my 08 ec with 40000 k miles. That included the tire and wheel package.

First off scrap the tire and wheel coverage it is pretty much a big waste of money. You just want to cover the electronics and drive train so get a price from them and negotiate with them then get the quote in writing and shop around at other dealers. Remember the price on the ESP plans are not set in stone and it is a negotiable item, a 5 year ESP should cost you anywhere between $1000 & $1500.

The tire warranty is great I've gotten 3 tires in a year and a half. No charge for anything, towing, nothing.
