Exposed electric

Hey guys,
As mentioned in another thread, i've removed the pillion of my stock fat boy. This is part of the design and yet i've noticed that it leaves a really big gap between the rider seat and the fender so the electrics are pretty much exposed. I could understand if i'd modified anything but since this is factory design i was kind of suprised. Anyone know if this could be a problem? particularly in heavy rains

Never good to have explosed electrics in the rain, they are water resistant and not water proof. Consider adding a fender bib when you have the solo seat on the bike that would cover that area.

Thanks for that glider. I even have one of those. i always assumed they were just for looks but now it makes sense!
