Exhaust tips??

I have the Vance and Hines classic slash cut slip-ons, with the cone shaped tip. The cone shaped tip is removeable and I plan to remove it because I like the regular slash cut look better. Will this cause me any back pressure issues if I just remove the tip and leave the baffles the way they are? The reason i ask is because the cones reduce the pipe size down at the end.

I removed the tips from my Rineharts to replace some screws and I rode the bike and there was a notable change in sound and performance. The Rineharts may be designed different.

Should be no tuning problems, however you will hear a different sound once you remove them. You might want to ensure you clean the ends of the pipes once you remove the tips to ensure no rust or scratches are visable, if present then you can treat the area before it becomes an eye sore.
Good Luck and be safe.
