The instructions say, "44 psi at cold start up...10 psi at idle...30-35 psi at 55 mph." My old bike gets 44 psi at cold start...15 psi at idle....and 20 psi at 55 mph. Been thinking about getting a high volume oil pump to maybe increase pressure at cruise speed...or does it matter?
It sounds like your oil pump is doing it's job. With my '94Evo anything above 11psi is supposed to be fine. Mine runs 35psi start up and 30psi at 60mph, but after I shut it off and restart (gas or cold drink stop) the idle psi is 7 and takes a couple of miles to get back to 30psi. Just thought I would ask about this product to see if anyone had ever tried it.
