Eric Buell Racing is No More

What a shame! Buell was very innovative in what he built. HD really put the boots to him and his design. He couldn't make it on his own, and now HD is talking about going WSBK racing. How ironic.
 
IMO, Eric has been around long enough to not only know almost everything about making a HD fast, but also a heck of a lot of knowing when to hold them and know when to fold them. I doubt he's invested much of his own stash in any ventures lately, his name is enough to bring out the investors. I sincerely hope that we've not seen the last of his innovations.
 
The Mothership should have never let him go. Apparently his name was not enough to pull in the investors he needed to continue the operation. Unfortunate for those that worked for him and are now looking for work.:(
 
Erik is a smart guy, he will land on his feet somewhere in the industry, HD needs to get behind him with their VR1000 if they want to get on the podium JMO
