ok well i am currently at work so i dont have time to read this entire thread....(wish i did :) i have a 2007 xl1200c that i recently purchased with 6,000 miles on it since then i have upgraded the pipes to vance and hines shot shots and the SE stage 1 AC Harley did a stock cpu remap... i now have around 6850 miles on the bike and i want to change all my oils.... what the very best i can use... also i live in the city so my bike is going to get HOT....
 
I am changing from syn3 to Mobile1 v-twin 20/50. I just got the bike and the previous owner did not change fluids often enough. It is pure black.
 
The M1 VT will clean out the engine fast. You may want to change it again before the next scheduled service.
