engine light/oil

hi guys i have an 04 roadking,after starting engine light would come on for about 30sec and oil light for about a min, i noticed breather tubes were cracked so i replaced them now lights only come on for 2-3sec did i solve problem, do i need to reset codes, thank you for any help.

ok i checked codes and u1097 only came up(loss of speeddometer serial data) hopefully oil light does not come on anymore.
