electrical headlight failure

Power supply (fuse) is my 1st thought.
Always check to see if you have needed power and if not, trouble-shoot the path of supply.
 
gotta be relay or circuit breaker in there somewhere. my '10 has a "high current relay" that will cause the same symptoms.
 
Do you have ignition? The contacts in the switch may be dirty
 
if you check your fuse and it is good then check out the lighting relay, they seldom go bad but it does happen, I know, long ride home in the dark:( they don't cost much so I carry a spare one now. mine was on a 2010FLHTC
