Dyna purchase

How does the1997 dyna compare to a 2006 and up dyna?? Any preference?

I personally prefer the earlier models, especially ones with the EVO engine.
Less electronics to go bad, easier to work on, carb vs: fuel injected, etc.
My youngest son just purchased a 2018 Street Glide. Nice to look at, and loads of amenities to drool over, but, I imagine it would be a nightmare to diagnose problems without needing to take it back to the dealer.

The '97 Evo engine was pretty well sorted out. I would stay away from an '06, they were test mules for the 96 inch engine. If I was buying, price would be my deciding factor. You should be able to get a really nice Dyna for $5 - 7K
