So about 5-6oo miles ago or so I started to hear a klackaty-klack noise on the left side that slowly got worse so I went about trying to figure it out, looked up all the possible causes, exhaust, primary tensioner clutch... couldn't figure out what it was. I pulled the chaincase cover and had a good look around all good no bad wear on anything. Well, I had been checking for something loose and when I first check the starter I pushed it down but this time I lifted it and low and behold it was loose as ever, about 3 turns of the screws on both sides. Noise gone! I'm going to check torque on all the bolts now!
