The wife said I had too many bikes so like an idiot I sold the three that were running. An 04 Roadking, 00 Concours and a 07 KLR.
I've got 5 left in various stages of disassembly.
Currently, I am just about done building a 96 Softail. Next is an 80 Ironhead Sportster swinging on the yard couch frame out back. In my storage unit are the 2 XR500 Hondas I used to race. One is partially finished as a café racer and the other will go back to stock when I get to it. My son will get them.
My gem is a 1926 Scott Flying Squirrel TT Replica.
Got a photo somewhere of me in a diaper circa 1952 on moms Harley. My first ride was in 1961 on a Motobi.
Gramps was a tool and die maker with Indian till they went under. Dad was a Norton, Matchless, NSU and Motobi dealer in Holyoke Ma. and later went to work as a rep for the Ducati, Moto Guzzi and Norton importer/distributor. I later worked for them as a rep for Ducati and Moto Guzzi after Norton went under. Got the photos reversed but they show my buddy (now deceased) Toker when I got the bits and pieces and near completion, sans Shortshots, in the other.
