Well, I thought I could hook up the sissy bar auxillary brake lamp myself. Didn't have a socket removal tool and ended up boogering up not only the socket terminals, but also the connector housing too, because I tried the recommended dental pick, eyeglass screwdriver, paperclip, safety pin, etc. Took it to a local guy who works on ATV's and bikes and got little help. Called J&P cycles and got a little more help (I can get the terminals$, removal tool$$, and crimper tool$$$$$ from them), but still found out I'd have to order the housing from Harley. I finally decided that the best route would be to take it to a Harley dealership and let them fix the whole darn thing at their tremendous cost. It has been a bad day. Sometimes it just pays to let someone else do it. I just can't wait to be back in the saddle again riding with everything in tip top shape. Just hate it when I can't do it myself.
