Do Desert Dawgs work?

Tired of getting wet from the knees down on my Road King when their's water on the road. The problem with wearing gaiters down here is that it so hot and humid I still get wet from the sweat. So looking at Desert Dawgs. Has anyone tried them and if so do they really keep you dry?

Short answer: Yes, they work. They help keep you dry and warmer than without.

I used the soft lowers from HD Best $60 I spent on the bike.

Hey thanks! I should read the catalog more often, I didn't know HD made soft lowers.

Get the better set for $60, the cheaper set they sell ($49) doesn't fit too well.

Hmmn...the HD soft lowers description says not to be used above 50 degress. I live in Ft. Lauderdale, FL it's ALWAYS above 50 degrees.

I have one from HD on my Heritage, they said not to be used above 50 but I've try them at 60-65 for roughly an hour ride and see no different in engine temp, I haven't try riding with them for more than an hour yet so really don't know what happen then, those works great keeping my feet dry and warm on the cold days.
