Discolored slip ons

Hi, does any know is it possible to clean the straw like colore from the front of a vance and hines slip on muffler,

Other things to consider are either re-chrome the pipes, or ceramic coat the entire exhaust to a color you prefer. I ceramic coated mine black (entire exhaust) for $160...just giving another option...
