Diamond air ride suspension

Does anyone know if Diamond Air Ride suspension is good.

The air rides are good for show bikes but when they let you down on the road, it's time for a tow home.

Just that model or in general because my buddy has a Vrod with air ride and its never let him down. He has had it for 2 years.

Let's just say it this way, for a show bike OK ,not for the street.
