I recently purchased a set of stretched hard bags for my 2009 deluxe. The bike is currenlty stripped down for a good cleaning while some tin is with the bags getting painted. does anyone out there have any experience with how to finish the inside of the bags other than paint? i have thought about truck bed liner, and someone suggested flocking. any suggestions help. thanks in advance

Lightweight outdoor fabric glued in would be my choice.

Because you want the leather to breathe and shed moisture, I would leave it unlined and use nylon luggage insert bags. No muss no fuss and you can empty the bags easily.

Something heat resistant? I've noticed that some stretched bag's have more exposure to heat.Bag covering a little more exhaust.Stuff gets hot right over those bottoms. I've had sandwich bags melt. They were carrying fob replacement batteries.
