Dakota Speedometer on EVO 1996

HI There,
Please advice if Dakota Speedometer (link below) will work with gearbox from (I believe) 1996. Do I need anything special to plug that speedometer to the gearbox to allow the sensor to read the speed? Or do I need to have a special gearbox? etc. Or just need to plug the sensor and it should work?????

That question would be best answered by the seller of that part to avoid any problems. It seems as if that is a discontinued part and not available on their web page.
