Cruise Control Problem

I have a 2003 FLHTI. After riding for an extended period of time in the rain, my cruise control quit working. When I turn the cruise control on with the toggle switch on the dash, I do not get the Red "C" on the tach indicating it's turned on. The actual toggle lights but no "C". Any ideas where to start?

I had the same problem last fall after riding 2 days in solid rain.My radio control was also a little tempermental.
I loosened the right hand switch assembly to allow air to get in and used a hair dryer to dry all of the contacts,tightened it back up and everthing worked again.
