Until today, I had not given any thought to the builder of the "Captain America" bike. It's unfortunate that so little is know of Ben Hardy.

These guys are long over do for the credit they deserve..
 
I love bike history and old photographs of them. Thanks for bringing to light, to me at least, an unknown fact about these bikes. Ben Hardy may he rest in peace.
 
Thanks for sharing all I had known was that they were built from old police bikes
but never knew who built them. Very Interesting article
