Crashed Softail help

Hello, I need some advice. I am active duty over in Sicily and got into an accident where I laid my bike down. I managed to ride it back to the house but immediately noticed that my shift linkage was shoved into my cooling fins, breaking a couple. Where the shifter/engine mount attaches to the frame, the bottom welds cracked and pushed it upward. I only see damage to the bracket. I didn't claim the damage through insurance. I'm not sure how to move forward. I dont really trust sicilians working on harleys.

See if there is an authorized HD dealership on Sicily, if so repairs should be standard procedures.
If you are doing the work yourself it sounds like you will need a new shifter bracket and and new cylinder. Good luck!

Post some pictures. Plenty of bike running around with broken cooling fins; depends on extent of damage. Sounds like a fairly easy DIY repair.
