Compression releases??

I have a 2002 Fat Boy 88B that has a big bore to 95ci,electronic Race Tuner.
I was concerned about cold starts I HAVE ALOT OF COMPRESSION and the big starter, I don't want to mess up the ring gear when it kiks back So I was woundering about compression Releases.
Got any input ??? how much they cost?? with labor??

Not sure the kind of heads or cam (i'll look in my paper work)
I got the bike allready bored...It was done buy a shop here in Las Vegas that is no longer in buissness.
I do have the history on the bike though
 
An alternative to compression releases is a higher torque 1600W or greater starter. The added compression and turning resistance means more stress on the starting and charging system.
 
Yes, I have the same upgrade on my 06 Ultra and the compression releases are really worth the coin they cost. I am sorta, checking out the electric ones,but the manual ones work fine and until I have issues with them I'll keep setting them every time I shutdown (dealer told me this trick).
