compensator bolt

replacing comp. bolt on my 12 streetglide. bought a new bolt and it already has a patch of loctite on it. my manual says to use a couple of drops of red loctite on this bolt. should i add a couple of drops of red to the patch that's already on there?

The Loctite patch on the bolt should be all that is required just make sure that the threads the bolt is going into are clean and dry before you fit the new bolt
