Compensating sprocket nut torque '99 FXD

Hello all,
Hello Glider,

Glider, I've noticed in some of your previous posts that you've spoken of an added washer or using a cut-down nut to get the proper torque on the stack-up on the compensating sprocket.

I have a 1999 FXD. The manual already shows a spacer under the compensating nut. Is it still advisable to add a washer or cut down the nut to get the required torque?

Thanks in advance.

Julian

If you have the spacer already, you should be OK. The spacer is usually added to get the proper torque or the nut cut down but being you have it already, you should be OK.
