Testing the resistance on the coil on my 2K Road King. Both sides of the primary fall in line with the manual specs. The secondary however specifies a max of 7500k ohms, I’m measuring 11780k ohms. Is the coil scrap?
The reason I’m looking at this is the engine seems to run fine for a while and then all of a sudden just quits. Luckily this is happening in the driveway while I’m letting them bike warm up and hasn’t left me stranded.
