Code PO501

Greetings everyone, I have been out of the loop lately (work) got me tied down. The last time I posted, I had a question about my speedometer droping off to "0" while crusing down the highway. well I run the DTC code on it and it comes up "PO501" (VSS Low EFI)...need some help here guys, I have a carb not EFI...or am I missing something here?..I have a 2006 Heritage Softail Classic.....somebody tell me what my problem is and what do I need to do fix it.......THANKS:31:

Look on the trans, you'll find it. You can clean it but it will usually go out again, should be replaced.
