so i took a 4 hour one way trip this weekend bike ran great all the way up then i stopped at our hotel . when we started out again the bike started run rough and lugging , poping , changed the plugs and wire's . check engine light came on and found code p0263 . but funny thing bike run's and idel's great on the kick stand , pull her up to ride and it starts running like crap and the check engine light comes on again . anyone else ever have this problem

I google "Harley Davidson P0263" and this is defined as "rear injector open/low EFI". I am sure someone here will chime in to help you.

Some (myself included) had problems with the wire harness being a little snug, with all the vibrating the metal wire inside would break and create an open. Like putting your fingers together and pulling apart and again creates an intermittent type problem.

Try wiggling the wires to the rear injector to see if you can fix/create the problem.

Is there any type of tuner on the bike? Is wire bail on connector securely
attached to the fuel injector? Check connections.
Perform a WIGGLE TEST to check for intermittent s. Intermittent s present?
P0261 Front injector open/low
P0263 Rear injector open/low
ECM fuse and system relay failures or wiring harness problems
will cause 12 volt power to be lost to both injectors, ignition
coils and fuel pump.

ok so i found the problem a broken wire to the fuel injector ... does any one know if they sell a repair kit for this

You should be able to buy a new terminal for the wire at your local HD shop. Just re-crimp and install. Add a little wire if need be.

You should be able to push the wire end out of the plug and re solder it with new shrink tubing for a secure connection
