The release finger broke on my 87 evo fxr. My problem is I cant find a new finger for that year 5 speed. I did find however, a clutch release kit that is cable direct! Which is the better system, and/or what is the difference? Does it eliminate the clutch release lever?:bigsmiley15:

I think I know what you are talking about, but photos would help. Do you have the HD Factory Service Manual for your model and year? If so, what do they call the broken part you are looking for? Is the release finger you mention the ball ramp that the clutch cable end attaches to?
