Chrome plating

I am thinking of plating my new handlebars that I made. Does anyone know what the finish needs to be before I send them out??

Can't help you other than checking with whoever you'll have do the plating and see what they need/recommend.

Smooth and nick free, use at least 400 sand paper

One thing you might want to verify with your "chromer" is if he's plating copper and nickle before the chrome. ( I forget which goes on first)
