choke trouble

I ride a carb EVO. Since the temp has been in the upper 90's the choke will not stay out long enough to warm it up when first started. It's never done this in the past years. Is something out of adjustment?

It's a common problem, just be careful not to over tighten it because it is made out of plastic and will break just by looking at it, also be careful about getting lube or polish on it, it's the only control you never want to lube. Glider has you covered.

As the knowledgable ones have stated, I adjust the knurled collar just tight enough to hold the knob in position and couple more degrees more. Choke knob stays out, but if I forget to push in, due to engine vibration (on a Harley?!!!) it goes in all by itself...an automatic choke...eh..."Enrichener".:newsmile030:
