My brother has changed his rear wheel on his 01 flh many times but when it came time to replace my rear wheel and we were removing it we could not find the belt adjusters where they are as on his flh my setup appears to be different. Any instructions would be greatly appreciated

Harley changed the adjuster system from the older style of the nut with the link that would pull back the axle at the end of the swing each arm to a newer style cam setup that is adjustable by rotating the cam on the right side that operates the left side also and pulls the wheel back evenly. As far as an adjustment, it works well but isn't 100% true and the alignment of the rear wheel should be verified after doing the adjustment.

I would suggest getting the factory manual that would cover the procedure a bit more than the owners manual if you are going to be working on your bike. It's the best investment you can make.
