Only when I receive a transmission ; I hear a cracking and popping sound. My transmissions are clear to my buddies and this strange popping sound ONLY occurs when I... am moving on my trike. Sitting still, all is well. These sounds have nothing to so with RPMs. They are random but pretty much all the time I am receiving from my fellow riders.

sounds to me like a loose ground, could be in your head set as well. have you tried a different head set?
