carb poping

03 sportster 1200c carb pops taking of at low rpm, rejetted the carb it still poped now changed to s&s carb and it pops worst than before what can it be

What type of exhaust are you running? Once you are under way does the popping stop? Have you always had the problem or did it start after you added something to the bike? Have you checked the timing?

Intake leak or ignition?

i have staight pipes did it since i got it

no intake leak

the poping stops after im on my way

Is it popping in the exhaust, may need some baffles for some back pressure :s

Sounds lean try adjusting it or rejet for more fuel

Have to get into the carb and check the jetting. Use this as a guide...

it pops in carb then wants to stall but doesnt
