Cam cover replacement

I have a 01 roadking. I am trying to replace my cam cover. I disassembled the cover to find a tube running from it, seems to be connected to some kind of sensor. I tried to find where the sensor disconnected so i could remove the tube, but had no luck. Did not want to put to alot of pressure on it, so i quit until i could find a better strategy. Thanks in advance!

It's the cam position sensor. They did away with it on newer models.:s

You have to disconnect the wiring and reinstall it in the new cover. There are slip over covers made that are like a shell in chrome that cover the cam cover without removal of much more than a few bolts and are difficult to tell they are a cover.
